French pancakes


  • 250grams of flour

  • a pinch of salt

  • 1 packet (=a teaspoon) of vanilla sugar

  • 3 tablespoons of oil (sunflower oil for example)

  • 3 eggs

  • 1/2 liter of milk

  • 1 cork of rum

  • a pancake pan

Caution :

  1. Put the flour in a large bowl.

  2. Add the pinch of salt, vanilla sugar, oil, eggs and a little milk.

  3. Mix everything until there is no longer any lumps.

  4. Add the milk gradually while continuing to mix.

  5. Add the rum and mix a last time.

  6. Let the dough rest for one hour.

  7. Heat the pancake pan, butter it lightly and cook the first pancake by pouring a laddle of dough into.

  8. Do the same for the following pancakes.


And there we go, this is another delicious and very simple snack !


The funniest thing of course is to flip over the pancakes in the pancake pan. But that is another story. Be careful, that might lead to disaster ! So, you can get help from the adult who accompanies you or quietly return the pancakes with a wooden spatula. It's your decision ;-)
